Domestic, Family & Sexual Violence Assistance
Last updated on March 27, 2026
If you are in immediate danger, call 000. If safe to do so, visit this site from a device that isn’t being monitored. Connected Australia prioritises your safety and is committed to keeping you safely connected.
Supporting Affected Persons
We provide trauma-informed support for those experiencing:
- Coercive Control: A repeated pattern of behaviour used to deny freedom and autonomy through fear, pressure, or manipulation. This includes monitoring your communication or restricting access to services.
- Non-Domestic Sexual Violence: Support is available for sexual violence occurring outside of a domestic or family situation, including incidents involving strangers or acquaintances.
How We Can Help:
- Urgent Reconnection: If your service is restricted or disconnected due to a safety risk, we will prioritise reversing this action or offering an equivalent service immediately.
- Account Security & Autonomy: We can assist with relocating services, removing unwanted services, or setting up a “fresh start” account not linked to a perpetrator.
- Right of Use (ROU): We can assist in transferring or taking ownership of a number to keep you connected to essential services.
- Warm Transfers: To avoid re-traumatisation, our staff will explain your situation to the next representative so you do not have to repeat your story.
- No Evidence Required: We trust your statement. You are not required to provide evidence of violence or disclose the circumstances of the abuse to receive support.
You can read our Domestic and Family Violence Statement.
Safe Communication & Privacy
We will agree on a preferred communication method and time tailored to your safety. We will never require you to contact an alleged perpetrator or their representative. For your safety, calls to the support services listed below are hidden from your records and bills.
